FIND OUT WHAT WE'RE ABOUT

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Where It All Started

Founded by Greg Klohn in 2011 in Kamloops, British Columbia, GK Sound started as little idea that grew into an emblem in the community. From a young age, Greg knew he wanted to bring top-notch production to every and any event that he could. After finding his place in the AV world, he began to rent equipment to friends and family, which slowly expanded to bigger clients, branched into the corporate world, and became the GK Sound you know today. After many years of perseverance, hard work, and late nights, GK Sound has become an award-winning audio, visual, and production company that continues to serve clients around British Columbia and beyond.

GK Sound prides itself on being able to give back to the community whenever possible. We are the jersey sponsor for the Thompson Rivers University
Women’s Volleyball Team and a team sponsor for the Cheerleading Squad, work closely on a sponsorship basis with many local non-profits, and provide affordable services to many local arts groups.
To show our support for the front line workers during Covid-19, we came together with our colleagues at TRU to light up the North Tower Residence for 10 days, which brought hope and positivity to our community. It is a standard in our mandate to donate our time and services back to a city that has given us so much, and we are lucky to be able to do so.

Our commitment to our clients is shown in our attention to detail. Our passion is in creating a high-quality production for your event, no matter the size, by using the latest in audiovisual production equipment and software and by examining the challenges and opportunities that you or your team may face. We strive to go the extra mile to ensure your event is everything you imagined and more, with the goal to create long lasting working relationships with our clientele to ensure their needs exceed their expectations.
